What is Bill Baird Motorsports?

That answer could be many things. Bill Baird Motorsports began in 1990 as Bill Baird began an active race team. Now it is a manufacturer of  Off Road Parts and chassis. It is also a retail business that does installations on Lift Kits, Leveling kits, and all types of aftermarket part. It builds many quad parts and now is in the early stages of building a UTV parts line.


Over the years Bill raced many venues from Tractor pulling, to Dirt Track racing, Arca Racing, and now is Off Road Racing. Bill decided to create a business that all styles of racing could benefit from. Using his knowledge he has gained and from the help of his special team he is growing a business day by day.

 Bill began working on designing and trying to create parts in his early racing days. Bill continued creating parts even more when his grandson began racing quads at the age of 4. When Bill's grandson Lane Baird came into the racing scene Bill actually took a break to focus on him.  It was all about Lane until bill spent a few days in Moab Utah. It was here that he would find his next passion. Off Road racing. He went to Moab on a vacation to relax and do photography work. But he left with a racing rig and with new ideas about a new style of racing. From then on things were even crazier. Bill was then running Saturn while trying to continue helping Lane in his racing while trying to begin Off Road Racing. Then deciding to open another business was just another reason for Bill to continue not only race but inventing new parts.


In 2012 Bill decided not only to have an active race team but to open a retail type business. Bill moved to a new location at the Sturgis Ky Airport which happens to located across from his other business Saturn Machine & Welding Inc. http://www.saturnmachine.net/

This Off Road business is growing. Many jeeps and trucks come through getting country lifts and accessories installed. We have some customers that come just wanting fabrication jobs done. We build several parts with our CNC Laser.
